no theirs a little square box on the top right corner of the game card but a 3ds has two downloaded games on it face raders and ar viewer a regular ds game works on a 3ds and a dsi game works too

Of course they wouldn't make the cartridges universal. (Curse Nintendo and their marketing techniques.....)
