South Park Super Mario 2 help

i can never get past world 4 level 4. at the very end there is a huge jump across fire to get to bowser and i can never make it. does anyone know of any way to cross it or a special tecnique, or even hidden block? all answers would be helpful, ive been playing tis game for a month straight with no luck.

If so, you have to pick Luigi and find the bird on the carpet.
