Hey let him/her chose what he/she wants.Pearl or dimond are both great
games.

Exactly,TigerStar!
The only difference is the Pokemon you get on it. If you want Palkia, Sheildon, or Glameow, go with PEARL.
If you want Dialga, Cranidos or Scorupi, get DIAMOND.

Easy Said and Easy Done.

The only main differences are the legendary (Dialga for Diamond, Palkia for Pearl)
and the fact that depending which version you get, some Pokemon appear in different places or in different frequencies.
Personally, I like Diamond because I like Dialga more than I like Palkia.

palkia is better because its water type and diagala (spelling) is steel.
and water is better then steel

the only reason i choose pearl is because i dont have diamond and never have played it i want to though
