I would think this occured because of either the PS2 overheating, the game not being able to be read, or the PS2 having issues.

i hate it when that happens.............

On my Jak3(woo they rock the jak series rock!!),i got up to the final level and was just about to beat it when the whole this just froze and i had to start again from only 14% done when i had it at 99.99%!!!!!

my slim ps2 keeps packing up.

The slim PS2, in my opinion, is very poor due to the fact that the hard drive is gone and the system is very fragile. Playing that for even a while can cause it to freeze. I know this happens because I went to Best Buy and I played it and when I put the controller on the system the game froze. The lens is too sensitive.

When I got god of war 2 it would not work on my ps2 and when it did it would always crash so all I did was get my action max cheat disc load it up to the god of war 2 cheat screen but did'nt put any cheats in instead I just took the cheat disc out and put the god of war two disc in and ever since it has worked fine but that was three weeks ago when I completed it and it is one of the best games I have ever played on ps2

Cleaning the lens sometimes helps with this common problem. And it is common.
