help on killing gaspar on ending of SCARFACE:THE WORLD IS YOURS

i need help i am stuck at where you talk to gaspar and you shoot everybody downstairs you go upstairs shoot everyone there then you follow gaspar down some steps and bam im dead how do i get past

ok let me think for a minute cos i did it ages ago but do u want any cheats for it the last mission is really too hard to do without cheats but hey its ur call im just trying to remember the particulars of that level lol i might have to go and do it again to remember lol
