My Horselovers one is BRAND new I just made it a few minutes ago: http://horselovers.createmybb.com/ . Hope you join the Harry Potter one though, because there is going to be a treat for all once I am done with it. Its going to make it REALLY REALLY good.

Ok...I figured;) So...would you help me Lukario? I wanto put some games, you know like the arcade on here and...I dont know how...would you help me if I made you a moderator or maybe even an admin but just for a few minutes or days?
Lukario
06-27-2007, 02:10 AM
As far as games I really don't see the configuration for it on my forum because the version that is used is an old version 1.1.8 and I don't think that is was supported back then, but I know that the new versions from 1.2.x and up do. At least from what I remeber. You can't upgrade the forum either because I was trying to do that as well and I wanted to put 1.2.8, but I can't

But I asked the informe team on informe.com and they said that if you allow HTML on the boards of your Forum you can do it...
Lukario
06-27-2007, 02:54 AM
Well I wouldn't know when it comes to HTML, but if you go to www.setbb.com (http://www.setbb.com), you can make a forum with an arcade already installed. I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Lukario

I don't like Harry Potter too much. *I guess the movies have made me lose interest. Plus, the series has been too long, its finally been finished off with this last book.

Plus, the series has been too long, its finally been finished off with this last book.um.....the 7th book isnt the last silly. J.K.R is going to write an 8th Harry Potter book but maybe not an 9th and 10th I found out :bawling:
fireheart708
08-28-2007, 06:18 PM
The seventh is the last?
PokemonQueen47
08-28-2007, 06:29 PM

It's not Spam. Saying you don't like something doesn't mean that it doesn't belong. Spam is saying something like 'Wanna play Pokemon, fireheart?' in this thread.
I like the books better than the movie because to me, they are totally different and the book explains a lot more than the movie did or does. The only one that I thought was close to the book were the first and the second movies, and even those left some stuff out. I mean now...the fifth movie seemed nothing like the book in my opinion.
Thanks,
Lukario

The fastest I ever read a Harry Potter book was four days, and that was the first one. I usually don't read Happy Potter that often because it makes my head hurt. Mainly because there are so many different elements and I really don't pay that much attention when I read.

i loved the twists and turns the books took...what i liked even more was in some cases you really couldnt predict what was going to happen next...and that is something i dont like in books or tv..is being to predict what is going to happen..it takes a lot to get me interested in things of that sort but these books sucked me right up..
she also is an excelltent writer..her way of using words really took my mind to where the destination was at the time..as if i was there watching it..there arent many writers out there like that..
its rumored that she is also starting a detective series collection..im not sure if it is true..i guess also an encyclpedia of characters from the potter books..
Lukario
09-03-2007, 01:32 AM
I've heard of the encyclopedia, but not the detective stuff. What I don't understand is that how some of her books are considered advanced reading. I mean they aren't that hard to read and obviosly if someone can read it in a day with no problems it obviously isn't that much of a big read.
Though that is off the subject. I think that the seventh book was majorly incomplete and I really thought that it was a bad way to end the series. I would consider it okay. Though I liked the sixth book the most. Anyways, good night, and hello to school.
Thanks,
Lukario

From what ive observed lately is how lazy these people are..just yelling at their kids yanking them around..they arent teaching them advancements in everyday life and skills...so for a lot of them it is advanced reading and its a large majority of people that i have seen...the parents just arent teaching their kids properly so its a task to read one of the books for them as for some other people its like reading a 1st year children's book..i hope that makes some sense..if not sorry..i just cant describe like i want to...
my favorite was goblet of fire 4...it was an interesting change of pace..

i liked the last one the best i couldn't stop thinking about it the first night so i only slept three hours. bizzare. it's like i was cursed with a spell right out of the harry potter world.

i understand...its all the excitment inside..knowing its new and not knowing whats going on gets the best of you..plus all the hype before it came out started the excitement..........
Lukario
09-03-2007, 04:11 PM
Pretty much. Though I never really was into that kind of hype. I just bought the book when I wanted to and when I felt like watching the movie I did.
As far as reading goes I've always been about four or five years of my age as far as reading comprehension. Even if it sounded like I couldn't read it, I would be able to summarize the book without any problems.
Thanks,
Lukario

12-16-2007, 12:41 AM
Yeah, I MUST agree. The Harry Potter books are MUCH better then the films, even though there are two HOT actors in the movie, the books are still awesome. That's why, one of the best books I've ever read is the 7th Harry Potter book. EASY, it is.:TooHappy: Right?:D

I'm not in to Harry Potter. It just looked like a ripoff of some movie to me.
chevysrfoxy
12-21-2007, 10:31 PM
It's not a rip off what so ever, but I would recomend you read the books first before seeing the movies! They are so much better! J.K Rowling is phenominal writer and really takes you into her mind and world.
They left so much out in this last movie to what the book says in comparison.
