First off, do you have a Wireless Router?

Okay. I can go through the whole process of getting through Wi-Fi.
First off, if you have wireless internet then you must already have a router. You then should search for an Access Point. The name that will show up depends on your router. Some may say linksys, which is a type of router. Others may be cable lines and they have the word WIRE in their name like 2WIRE4234 or something like that. Those require a WEP, which you need to know when you get your router installed. You then should look for any given connection at that time and save it as one of your access points. Then can tell because the connection will have a blue outline around the connection strengh. Those are the only ones you can connect to. Not the Red, or the Gray. If you are able to find a connection with three bars of connection, then that is most likely yours.
If you want to know what a WEP Key it stands for Wired Equivalent Privacy or Wireless Encryption Protocall is a really complicated system used to block people from intercepting wireless radio waves in order to evesdrop on what people were saying. It is used for most internet policies.
Thanks,
Lukario
