Actually, it looks liek their doing a GBA and DS like number one.
From what I've seen on websites there is.
Pokemon mystery Dungeon: Darkness Exploration Battalion
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon:Time Exploration Battalion
Following the first mention earlier this year by developer Chunsoft of a new Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon game for the DS, we've at long last gotten a full look at the new title. Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon, as the series is known in Japan, will be released to the Japanese DS this Fall in two packages, Toki no Tankentai (Time Exploration Battalion) and Yami no Tankentai (Darkness Exploration Battalion).
As with the original fusion of ChunSoft's popular Mysterious Dungeon series with the Pokemon franchise, this new set of games begins when the human main character finds himself transported to the world of Pokemon. He's also been transformed into a Pokemon himself and is capable of communicating with the Pokemon around him.
You don't get to manually pick your in-game Pokemon counterpart. Instead, the game starts off by asking you a series of questions. Based on your answers, you become one of the 16 default Pokemon.
The default list is made up of Pokemon who appeared for the first time in Diamond & Pearl. Pikachu and other older Pokemon can be selected as companions to accompany you on your quest.
And what is that quest all about? As in the original, your ultimate goal is to figure out how to get back into human form, but along the way, you'll have to take on missions from a guild. Your character will grow as you clear tasks that include searching for treasure and helping troubled Pokemon.
Once again, missions take you to randomly generated dungeons where you make use of tools that you find scattered about to clear traps. Chunsoft is including Wi-Fi Connection support this time around, so if you find yourself overwhelmed in a dungeon, players from far, far away can come to your aid (and you can return the favor later).
Given the strong international sales of the first Mysterious Dungeon titles (released in two versions, one for the Game Boy Advance and one for the DS), there's little doubt that the new games will arrive our way at some point. In the meanwhile, we'd suggest continuing to refresh your Pokemon skills every now and then with Diamond & Pearl
Looks pretty, uh, intresting.
Looks pretty far into develppment.
