I played in the Low Brass section in Middle School, I was first chair, but it just got a little lame because I never got the melody and I got bored. Only did it for two years, it was fun while I actually played, I got to preform on some parades like the Montrose Christmas Parade, and the Baldwin Park Parade, I also got to go to San Diego.

That sounds pretty cool. The low brass usually never gets the melody but they usually get the Melody in Marching songs and quiet and calm songs wich don't come around in Middle School.

I stopped because it started getting...well I just wasnt able to discipline myself to practice though I was a little good it just...I didnt always sound good when I though so. So I quite and Im in chior now. Nothing fun yet though until Monday...:)

Now I'm in the Junior High Marching band. I fell one chair because in a chair test I had to slur from low C into the High G. had to play all the open notes in the slur.

I dont play piano but I used to play clarinet for two years. the second year of clarinet there was barely anyone in the band. there was only me and another kid. We had to play a 4 song concert all by ourselves!
