Yeah, the first Silent Hill was definitely the best cuz it was more scary. Didn't think much to Silent Hill 4 though.

I reckon Resident Evil games have lost their scariness and gone more for thrills than chills, but the Silent Hill games are scary as hell. One scary bit I can always remember is in Silent Hill 3 when Heather looks in that bloody mirror and all the blood sinks in and makes her reflection look all gory (shiver)
