Help with Animal Crossing Wild World

I have seen a cheat for Animal Crossing Wild World, but I don't understand it.

It says:

Connect to the houses of four friends and give Tom Nook 50 fossils.
You will get a whistle that calls Kapp'n. He will take you to Animal
Crossing Island.

The part I don't understand is "Connect to the houses of four friends"

I just want an answer to what it means! Please, someone help me!

I think this cheat is bogus.
But, if it really does work, I would guess it means to connect with at least 4 different friends and go into their houses.
That's the best I can do.

It means u need to travel 2 4 diffrent towns and then go in 2 the humans house!lol!!
