Max out all of his stats and beat other pokemon 2 or 3 times and he'll evolve at night. If you do it in the day you get espeon.

I heard you can get it on fire red but you train him until you have an ultimate friendship(which can take a while)and he evolves depending on the game time. Is that true?????

Well, you can't get the Umbreon evolution on FR of LG until you unlock the National Dex.

There is no night and day in fire red. I'm all confused:(
