its good to do that.. being cautious is good.. my daughter just writes in the state... nothing stating its upstate down state mid state... and she puts everything as private so if someone wants to know they have to know a certain about her to enter in a requested field for them to access that area..
the way some of these sickos are is sad but whats sad is how teens are lured to these people they dont know.. they hear what they WANT to hear from these guys / gals who they believe to be there own age..or even worse knowing the guy is older and still telling them where they live and all..

i know i had a mate tell some random guy all bout her when we were younger so i told her parents cos she was planning to meet him but they didnt care so i told the school and they sorted it out but i couldnt believe that her parents didnt care even at my age my mum dont want me giving out info that is too private or meeting ppl i dont know but then im not stupid enough to go and meet some sicko!

wow..im amazed her parents didn't care about it...even friends my age if they are meeting up with someone for the first time they are sure to do it in very populated public spot...like starbucks...or a mall...and some of them even ask us to come along to just over watch to be sure nothing happens..
glad the school stepped in and did something about it..

Obedience,LoYALTY, and respect are virtues that that are being challenged today. We may not obey our parent, give them the loyalty or respect they wish or deserve, but i hop my children obey me, are loyal to me, and RESPECT ME. ^^ You TOO ^^

yeah i agree with u to a certain extent patient but at the end of the day its ur life once u get older. my mum demands respect from us whateva age but as soon as we have moved out she cant tell us what to do anymore. we only live by her rules while we live under her roof. and i was taught that u only side with ur family if they r in the right. if someone in my family is in a dispute with someone but they r wrong then i will say it. but i think its abit harsh on anyone to demand that they obey u whateva ur will is once they move out just cos they r ur child. u should obey ur parents to a certain extent once ur older but not totally otherwise its them running ur life instead of u being in control tho u should always have the greatest respect for them. unless they do something bang out of order.
