Wii, you got one yet? How?

I got my Wii on eBay like 3 days after it came out. I paid $100 more then retail but I got it. I got *** with the Zelda game too. I got it mostly for my son for Christmas. I did not know it was going to be this fun, the whole family enjoys to play it.

How did you get your Wii or what have you tried to get one? Are you still trying to get one?

i havent got a wii but one of my mates have and i thought it was gunna be boring and it turns out it is rely fun the time rely flys wen ure on it and its great excercise.(juts make sure to use the strap thing)

The morning of launch we went around searching to see if stores had any. We decided to wait in a line of 28 people in front of a circuit city which was getting about 30. From there we stared in awe of the 150+line best buy was getting across the street. Bestbuy had given out tickets to everyone in line to get a wii so there was no point in waiting in line any longer so they were running up and down the street throwing a foot ball and gathering for smash bros games. when they finally opened we watched as everyone went in and out with their wiis. Then this one car pulled up to us and the driver yelled over the passenger who was his kid with a wii in his lap "Hey you guys want a wii!!!". I was annoyed at the fact that the guy didn't even wait to get to ebay with the wii, that was til i realized that he was holding one of the ticket stubs from bestbuy and was giving it to us. So my brother rushed and grabbed it an we went to best buy to get ourselves a wii with zelda.

Wiisports is great fun but i am just a bit dissapointed that there werent other sports included. I would have loved to see wiii sports and wii play combined.

Zelda was great but i am having problems playing rpgs for long periods of time. Im still on hour 35 of xenogears and i started that 3 years ago...

My parents told me that they would try to get me a Wii for Christmas, but when Christmas came around, it turned out that they couldn't find one. They ended up giving me a piece of paper with "Wii Owe You" on it (like an IOU, made me laugh for hours...)

A couple of days after Christmas, I went with my dad to a certain retail store and they didnt have a Wii, but they had several Xbox360s and my dad asked me if i would rather get a 360 than a Wii, and inside my Ninten-heart told me "NO!" but my greedy self said "YES!". Why get a system later when I can get a system now?

In conclusion, I now have a 360 and I am still rocking without Nintendo... makes my heart cry...

it looks good but the games that i have seen advertised for it look like they are for little kids lol or just really simple so not much fun

i have a wii but i have to admit im spoilt. i have a gamecube ,wii ,nother gamecube ds ,gba,nother gba and ps2! wiis are SO cool

Heh, I bought mine off eBay too. I got fed up with calling about 20 stores every day. Bought it for $300, came with another Wiimote and 10k Wii points, not a bad deal I thought.

I honestly haven't played mine in the past month.. I used it to check my E-Mail 'cause my brother was on the computer.. that was about it.
