I've got a psp and my lil bro's got the ds lite. The psp's great to have, and the ds is just like another gameboy handheld accept it can play ds games too. The graphics that the ds lite has aren't as good as the psp's graphics. Plus, the psp plays movies! But if you're in a tight budget, just get a ds because its cheaper and has more games. I'm just not into a two screen handheld.

I don't have either. If I had to buy one, I'd more likely than not get a DS because of my interest in games. Neither handheld will let you down, I just think it comes down to what your preferences are.

true... i almost got the psp when it first came out, but when it first came out it only had sports games.

I have a psp and a ds, I use the D.S. a lot more, and I think the games are great.
But then, I love Mario. If you love Mario, go with the D.S.. It has a lot of games, and I think it is a lot easier to get into. Just my opinion, and also, I am most likely an "old dog" compared to most of you puppies posting here. Hard to learn new tricks when you are 40.

DS is better all round really. It's got decent games, clever and decent WiFi, awesome touch screen! Chat mail stuff, and pretty much everything you want! You can even play all the old GBA and GB games on it!

I wouldn't agree. I mean I remember watching my mate play the PSP and he was getting furious at GTA because when he drove something he couldn;'t see where he was going because the screen was pixualted. Then he got a DS and he plays the DS much more.

In terms of difference....I'd say the PSP has better quality, with sharper, bolder graphics than the DS, but the DS' games have more originality. Not to mention the console itself. Of course, I think Sony is the superior company, so I'd root for PSP, but that's only because I'm a Sony fan so I suppose my opinions a bit biased.
