Guys, a blog is a board that you can express yourself about areas of interest in the gaming industry and they are sort of cool, but you don't just fill them with fluff. :(

An article has to be well put together with clear and concise thoughts . It can actually stimulate some very good discussions.

Right now all we are looking for is article ideas. If you have an idea of something you think would go over there you can post it here ... perhaps in its own thread so others can comment on it and add to the idea.

Eventually, when we are ready to open it up you can submit your writings (more info on that when the time comes), they will be reviewed and added to the blog.


CheatMaster has asked me to add an article. I'm planning on writing an article about how to manage and upkeep a family friendly gaming community (forum connected to a specific game). Will be several weeks but look I'll let ya know when its been submitted and you can see what ya think ... lol

Shiny Mew or Mew
first you have to get the old sea chart by going on a nintendo rare event.When you have got the old sea chart find a ship what you can sail to the battle frointer on.Then you will have a choice to go to Faraway Island sail there.When you get there save it because sometimes the cheat dosent work.Cut all the grass and a shiny Mew will pop out hopefully or if you don't want to risk it and want to catch an ordanary Mew just search in the grass and you will find one.He will play hide and go seek with you same with the shiny Mew.

Deoxys or Jirachi
You have to get to mossdeep city and defeat the pokemon league before you can get Deoxys or Jirachi.When you do that go to mossdeep space centre there will be a man who says thats rocket launch number whatever the number goes up everyday and you need 100 to get to the moon to find Deoxys or Jirachi.When 100 days as gone passed talk to the man again I will keep checking to see what number he is on everyday but when he says 100 he will ask you to go to space say yes then you will blast off to the moon.There will be Deoxys or Jirachi but if your really lucky you will find them fighting each other on the moon.

Latios or Latias
When you do the pokemon league you will start of in your house go down stairs.Your mom will have an exclaimation mark on her head and she will say your name come here quick and you will watch tv and the news will say there are a rare coulerd pokemon on the loose.Your mom will ask you wich couler if you pick red thats for Latias if you pick blue thats for Latios but don't get to exited first you must find them.You will find them near pacifilog city in the entrance on the sea.

Regice,Regirock and Registeel
Ok first to get these pokemon you must first unlock there caves I will tell you how to do it.You must go to pacifilog city and go to the currents always go down them to the left far as possible and keep going dow that way.You must have the pokemon with you Relicanth at the back and Wailord at the front.You will come to a deep patch of water if not try again use dive there.Go right to the end of the cave and read the braile if you can't read it check in your Emerald book or I will tell you the first braile reads use dive here so you do that.You will come to a cave go right to the end and use dig.At the end of the second cave read the sign and a earthqauke should happen if not switch Relicanth and Wailord around then hopefully a earthqauke should happen and it should say it sounds like three doors opened somewhere.This means you have unlocked the caves but now I need to tell you were they are.Regice's cave is near petalburg beach were mr briney lives go south there on the water until you see a man going up and down on a Island.Cross the Island and go north you will see a cave with rocks around it go inside.Go to the back and read the Braile then walk around the cave near the walls anti-clockwise and when you get back to the Braile a door should open and go inside and there will be Regice.Regirocks cave is in the desert go south until you see the same cave as Regice's cave go inside read the Braile.Go all the way left until you reach the wall go north until you can turn left again make your man face right in the same spot and use rock smash and the door will open inside will be Regirock.Registeels cave is near fortree but take my advice go to the lady who says straight on is Mt.Pyre keep going left from her until you see a girl with green hair behind her should be stairs go up and keep going straight on theres the cave go inside.This bit is simple just use flash in the middle of the room the door will open there will be Registeel.

Rayqauza
you need to go to sootiplas and see wally in the cave of Origan.He will say something about Rayqauza and ask you were he is say Spear pillar and he will say yes he is at the top of the spear pillar we have got to go.The spear pillar is located near pacifilog city go north on the sea until you see a gap you can go in sail through there and there will be an entrance go inside and go to the top until you come outside again.There will be another doorway go inside that one and go to the top of the sky pillar but when you get to the bit where there are rocks blocking a door go to the floor above and drop through a crack and you will fall facing the door now go to the top.There will be Rayqauza press A on him and he will fly away and sort out the fight between Groudon and Kyrouge.Now go to sootiplas and do the pokemon leageu but the pokemon league is not in sootiplas it's in Evergrand city.When you do the pokemon league go to the sky pillar again to the bit were you have to fall down cracks but this time bring the bike that you can't pull wheelies on you will need it.There will be cracks blocking your way use the bike to get past them but be some steps away when you get to the top you can catch Rayqauza.

Groudon and Kyrouge
You must do the pokemon league and go to the weather instuite and talk to a man upstairs on a computer in a little hutch thing.He will say there has been a drought or a drizzle on route whatever.Go to that route and there will be a cave go to the end of that cave and there will be Groudon or Kyrouge when the man says Drizzle that means Kyrouge will be in the cave when the man says Drought that means Groudon will be in the cave you can catch Kyrouge and Groudon.

If you take a look at the blog using the link I provided .. you will note its a bit different then the CheatMaster's cheat site. I would think your cheat article would be better served on the main site.


What we are looking for in the Blog is new type stuff, informational stuff, perhaps something like what makes girl gamers different from boy gamers ... are they different?
Or information on a new console or an eagerly awaited new game.
Or perhaps something like what is it about pokemon that makes it so darn popular with the younger generation... or is it just the youngsters? Do older folks enjoy it too? Why?
Or what makes one particular racing game the best? What does it have that others lack?

Get the picture .... not game reviews or cheats .. that info is for the main site ... more about gaming, games and gamers.

If you have an article or even just an idea you think is interesting but would like more input on ... you have the beginning of an idea but need help working it out for example ... feel free to create a new thread so it can be discussed.

A blog and a forum are two VERY different things. Before you all go asking this or that in a thread, you should go and find out a little bit yourself. Cheetah is here to help, BUT HE'S NOT A Q&A MACHINE! You guys hardly know anything because the arcade is probably frying your brains! The thing is, we want to keep this place as clean as possible. Every once in a while we get something new... Let's not abuse them.

A blog is like a journal, a magazine of sorts. It has articles based broadly on a specific topic usually. The difference between a blog and a magazine is that it allows others to comment on the articles submitted.

I hope this clears this whole issue up for you all and you will begin using this board for it's intended purpose.

cheats are not posted on the blog. If you submitted it to the main site it is first reviewed and then posted. Recently the server for the main site (including the blog) suffered some major issues and much of what had been worked on prior was wiped out and is in the process of being rebuilt. Well they decided on the word “Zerker” to stand for “Berserker” and they asole renamed “Shinobi” to “Ninja” (guess they decided “ninja” is more well-known to the English-speaking world—and they’re probably right.) Anyway, the two versions for this one shall be Zerker X Ninja and Zerker X Saurian. Apparently this one will feature an Electric element this time, dropping the Water/Ice. It will appear to be three forms that you can utilize (Wood Ninja, Fire Saurian, and Electric Zerker), with the Zerker obviously being shared between the two versions.

I think that this should be a good game because I have the first one and it was a very good game.

I am glad that they changed it tho because the first one didn't look like it had a secend story of it being mostly the same thing.

I don't know what the price well be but from mega man fans I think that they can get some money.

Hey Cheathelper,

Your going to need to add things like the main story line of the game...what is the plot of it? And then discuss the different features of the game, what can you do in it ? Why is one feature better than another? Things like that.

What game platform is it for ? PS3, Xbox 360 , PC , Wii ?

And then a little more detail on why you like the game so much, what the game "does" for you so to say...

My Pokemon Ranch is a game in which you can interact with the pokemon you have rounded up in your ranch,you can transfer your pokemon from Diamond/Pearl into your ranch.You can transfer up to 1000 pokemon to your ranch.I know it is alot,but it'll be worth it;)Your Pokemon turn 3-D,and you can use your MII's to take care of them!

At the beggining of the game you will be giving 6 starter pokemon,(They will be randomized in each game)If you don't have Diamond Or Pearl,don't worry!You will get a new pokemon each day!The ranch is run by a women named Hayley,she is a friend of Bebe's in pokemon Diamond and Pearl.You will help Hayley out,she wants you to help her round pokemon to the ranch!There will be unlockable features and the ranch will expand once you got ALOT of pokemon!You can obtain a special Mew at ranch level 25,and a Phione at ranch level 15.

In the pokemon ranch,you can take pictures of the pokemon,play with them,it's almost like the MII channel!Once you take a picture,you can send the pictures to your friends that are registered on you WII console!They can do actions by themselves too!They can talk to other pokemon,fight and even sleep!They like to play with each other,too!The only problem is,when you transfer the pokemon to the ranch,you can not train or level them up/evolve in the ranch.If you want the evolution,you will have to catch the pokemon that you want evolved and evolve it in Diamond/Pearl!

Call Of Duty 3 (WII)

Like all good war games, Call Of Duty 3 starts well. As soon as you land you can see the flash of gunfire and hear the thud of bullets ripping through your armour, but there's so much going on you can't see the enemy. At this stage it's hard to stay calm and remember that you are sat on your sofa rather than a frontline.

After this harrowing intro you're moving with your team through derelict houses and barns, gunning down Germans, taking cover behind tanks as the enemy swarm towards you, shooting from every angle and fighting off Nazi soldiers with your bare hands. And the WIIMOTE makes the whole experience better than ever. While holding the WIIMOTE doesn't exactly make you feel like your carrying a weighty rifle it does add a certain drama that you can't get from a pad and it makes you feel more than a little vulnerable when you peer around from your cover and find yourself pointing it at a tank.

There is also some new action events that make great use of the WIIMOTE. Oce scene has you wrestling a rifle out of an opponent's hands by moving the WIIMOTE and NUNCHUK back and forth as if you're trying to wrestle the rifle from his hands. Once you've brushed him off you swipe the WIIMOTE to club him in the face with the butt of your weapon.It's brilliant!

If it all just sounds like flashy, big-budget presentation, Call Of Duty 3 has a bit more to it than that. First mission aside you really have to think about what you're doing, making sure you stick with your team-mates when on the offensive and remembering to stick close to cover so you can reload. The Germans are canny too, lobbing your own grenadesback at you and, for the first time in the series, they'll retreat when under heavy fire and find a better position to take cover.

What stops this from being an essential shooter is the lack of a multiplayer mode. On other consoles Call Of Duty 3 has a 24-player online mode but here there's not even a split-screen mode.

Still, while the lack of multiplayer options knocks off a few points, as a single-player WWII shooter Call Of Duty 3 is as goos as it gets!

Why keep old platforms?

A very good question is why keep old gameing platfroms?
If they don't work then yes you should get rid of them but if they are in working condisen you should keep them.Why?Well your kids may injoy them first of all.I got the plain old Nintendo at my Grandparitens house and I love playing it.

Yes the graphics for old platforms are not as good as the PS3 or the Nintendo Wii but still they can provide hours and hours of entermamatin, and Games like Donkey Kong 64 are just fun to try to do eveything and beat your scores.

I mean why do we need all the new stuff if we can have just as much fun with are Nintendo's and Nintendo 64's and all that stuff.I would rather keep my Nintendo 64 then buy a Nintendo Wii!Yes it sounds like I'm crazy but if you go to an old game store place and buy 5 games for Nintendo 64 I bet that the amount of the 5 games where colse price of one PS3 game.

So if you ask me if you should keep them thats what I would say.
