Ps: this is also not a place to overly abuse asking things like if its something dumb dont bother the mods or other ppl because that could in a sense be considered spamming and, look at my signature you can see what im against....

You can't put things on the calendar because your permissions are limited. Only staff may posts events. In the future, though, use the "Edit" button if you have something else to add to your posts.

I like this thread and I think it was much needed! Maybe there could be a Forum Help started we can post our questions as threads, does that make sense? If not, just ignore it. lol. I do have a question, on one forum I am part we can choose our color when we post in our profile area, so when we post we don't have to click the color button, just post and it does it in the color you want, do we have that option?

I don't think that vBulletin has that option. I've never heard of it before to be honest though, so I couldn't say for sure.

Does anyone know how to get a picture as your signature?

Find the website that has the image you want. Right click on the image, and then you will see a menu. At the very bottom you will see a tab called "Properties". Click that, and then you will see a place with the URL. Click and drag it so the URL is highlited, then copy it by pressing Ctrl+C. Then go here and paste the URL into your signature area by pressing Ctrl+V. Then you will need to put tags around the URL like this www.site.com/images.picture.jpg. Save it and there you go.

It doesn't happen automatically, your current cookies will be in effect until you log out (use the "log out" link, don't just shut down the browser) and then log back in again.

If that didn't work go to your browser tools (after logging out of the site) and delete all your cookies, close your browser to ensure the change takes effect, then log back in again.

"Cookies are used to enable functions such as showing whether or not a thread or forum you are viewing has new posts since your last visit, or to automatically log you back in when you return to the site after being away for a while." -Defined in vBulletin FAQ

To clear your cookies in IE, go to Tools --> Internet Options. You will then see a window with your homepage, and the second box has a button that says Delete cookies. Press that, and wait while your cookies are cleared. Don't delete your Temp files though. Just cookies.

If you are using Fire Fox, then go to Tools --> Options. You will now be under a tab called Privacy. Go to the button that says Clear now, and you will see a pop-up window. Check the box that says cookies, but uncheck the rest of them. Then press Clear Private Data Now.

I HAVE THE ANSWER TO THE SENIOR MEMBER PROBLEM WE'RE HAVING!!! Adam contacts you, and then you have an option under miscellanious in the user cp that says 'group memberships'.

The word forum is used for a community of boards. Ergo, this whole place would be a forum.

click on the section you want (ex. forum games) either at the top left or the bottom left there will be a button labled 'new thread'. click on that and then start the thread you want.

I got a Idea its like a qestion but it'll do why don't the admins get rid of the old moderators like the ones what have been moderators for a long time then why dont you pick members so then they can have a go at moderating then after 2 months or so get the moderators who were mods before then make them mods. that was to the Admins

because they would need to go over major rutine matenence take time to pick new moderators explain to new mods how to mod fairly and how far their power goes and by the time thats done the 2 months would be over and it would be fair to old mods even though you get position back the forum way would change and they would have to get it back to the way they were running it
so long story short: to troublesome get to mod by being good member and qualifying for the job.

I am honestly going to have to straighten up this place to get it back off to how it once was. Seeing as it's a public computer they may not be letting you do it, I would sugges going to your User CP and going through the Avatars they have listed. There is a wide variety of them to chose from.

Long Answer: No, because there is no settings in the Admin CP, and there isn't a setting period. Consider running it by vBulletin and friends.
