here is my question....lately when ive been playing the games my pc freezes each and every time..i can play games anywhere else and not have it freeze but when i come here and play it freezes and i have to shut my pc down manually...why does it only happen when im on our arcade?

Is it blue screen of death freeze? To actually contribute to the thread, I would think that it might be your browser or your computer, because my computer sometimes freezes when I play Snake, or mostly any other game. So I would say that it is your browser that might be causing the problem.

That might b true. The browser wud flat out not let me in to cheatmasters so now I m using a different 1.

L..thanks for the input...ive had my laptop checked and no problems...i use aol and didnt have a problem until last week...ive contacted them and they checked everything...ive tried it under IE and netscape so far and the same problem...its not a blue screen L..it just freezes the whole thing up and i have to manually shut the pc down....

I really don't know what the problem is, I have the same one, but I didn't talk to anybody. I don't know why it freezes on AOL, but who knows. My computer freezes on IE. Like I said earlier, I think the problem has to be the browser freezing the computer from an error of some sort.

Have u tried the server Mozilla Firefox? That was my old server for this site.

I currently use Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Firefox. Usually, I will use Firefox most of the time, but I use IE on forums because it loads the fastest.

your right about that L...IE does load alot faster than others..lol..im not sure...ive had problems with moz and firefox before...long ago..so i try to stay away from certain things..anyway...ill fig out whats wrong..wasnt sure if Cheetah might know....ive also noticed when it freezes and i turn it all back on and run my programs to clean i have a lot of cookie trackings and what not...

I actually have another arcade question.. how do we rate the games?..i see the rating stars but don't see how to rate them.. am i missing something or just not seeing it?

Make sure your flash player is up to date. Also try using an alternate browser, the browser plugin could be messed up on your computer. Not sure why this is only happening here though. Let me know if you get it fixed.

it works ok on my reg pc but on my laptop it freezes up alot..ill let you know.. taking it to the shop in a couple weeks..

Play a game, then at the bottom, if memory serves, it will have a rating thing on the bottom.

ok..heres my next question.. why is it, if you look at the times say in the game Bank Shooters why does it take me almost time and a half to even come close to the other scores? It took me 52 min to get 8400+ points but it only takes another player 20-21 minutes to do the same amount and then some?

Because it only takes the first recorded score and uses that. Say that if you played for 10 minutes and you submitted that score, that time will be used whenever you submit a new score. All iB Pro Arcade does is a high score overwrite rather than individual submissions because that is how it is configured here.

now..i do have a question.. in the game Flight Of The Hamster how do you use the skateboard? i cant figure it out to save me..lol

The skate board is used when you come at a horizontal angle to the ground. It will make the hamster go a little farther (depinding on how fast he is going) so he he might have a chance of running into one of those boards that fling the hamster back up into the air.

Ok, I see the scores were reset but why haven't the scoring chart for 1st, 2nd places and for all of them been reset also? Just so there is no confusion.

Ok, fixed. It was only deleting champs but not the actual score. It works now and scores have been reset.

They are still a little loopy, like Tetris for one. It shows me as high score that I got today but rOw is in 1st. A few others are like also. Jurassic Park and I think 3D Worm.

Where it shows your score, it's showing your personal best. r0w is the actual champion in first place.

I'm sorry, I didn't explain better, I'm bad at that..lol..what I meant was if you click HighScores for Tetris it'll show the 1st place person there, which happens to be me, but it has others in the place of 1at, 2nd 3rd place. This is one of the games that was just reset. Maybe I'm just not understanding or something but I sure do feel confused! lol.. I know what your saying, if your looking at all the games it gives all the best.. well..here is the link..
