This really shoudl be in General Gaming Discussion but I'm not going to argue. Personally it depends. If you wont good gaming but you don't want something to complicted and your happy just to play from time to time pick the 360. However if you want a decent console that you will play often and want alot of fun out of and alot of great technology plus games I'd say pick the PS3.

It really depends on what gaming style you're into. If you want to dive straight in and start playing your mates online and battling them out, then go for the 360. If you want more than just gaming, say music or movies and a bigger online community to chat to, then choose the PS3. It's your decision and nobody on here can really make it for you.

But what you have to remember on the PS3 you will already have the extras while on the 360 you'll have to buy them.

No I mean as a whole. Because Sony are busy focusing on extras, Microsoft have got more time to improve their gaming quality.

I'd say PS3 cuz it has lotsa unique games.Even the games and blue-ray are really clear.But it is really expensive.

That's just 2 games however it has been reported many times that those 2 games are the only good games you can get on the 360 while on the PS3 you can get loads of great games.

But we've lost the point of the thread. We were supposed to be giving advice to blackknight about which console he should buy, instead it's just turned into an argument. Look blackknight, we can't make this decision for you, and your best bet would be just to look over this thread and decide from the opinions given which one you'd prefer.

Sometimes the best way to get an answer is to argue. That's have I have always decided on many things by arguing. It starts to make you think more why you think that thing is better and then you other people's opinions and then you can weigh the odds.

It also depends what you can afford, I bought a 60gig 360 and got a lego Indiana jones game and kung fu panda all for $299. For a 80gig ps3 which is all you find in stores is 399. What can you afford.

That's a good point actually. As it came out into the shops long after the Wii and the 360 I think it's gotten itself a good standing in the market. But aren't we supposed to be discussing what's good about them and not there market status?
