Just out of curiostity does the views counter on the right hand side of a thread only got to 9,999 as it looks like that is the maxium it can go up to as it has no space to go beond that.

I dont really know....I have never tried it but it would probably just go up to 9,999

Depends on how many binary digits there are. The views are probably 32-bit, meaning they can go on for millions of views.
