Rewards?

I think that when people register, there should be a question that says, "If someone told you about the site, what was his/her username?" and if they put a member, they should get a reward.So then more people will join our community!I think it's a good idea.Does anyone else?

Good idea PikaComet, however the forum is really about interacting with the main CheatMaster site.. And I do believe you get rewards for adding game hints and cheats.

If we get enough help going out to the average gamer through the main site that will naturally draw members into the forums.

Isn't that just like a referral system that is on the normal vB registration form? While I think it is a great idea, someone could just put some random person's username and get whatever the "reward" is.

I like it, but there's one thing missing from your idea: What will be the reward?

Thats true, but maybe they have to put something in about the user to show that they know them? And maybe if you refer a certain number of people you can get a title sorta like how many posts you have. :)

I think that this would be a good idea, but without the prizes. It would be best to have on the form that the question would be: "Were you referred by an existing member?" and you would put down their username in that space. I've seen it on other forums, but not this one. That would be something I'd be looking forward to. :)

That would seriosly require more effort than the output would be. The second one though sounds good.
