i collect coins. i think i have a 50 cent coin from like 1809....
i found it in a jar filled with other old coins, in the walls of my 255 yr old house.
it was a pretty strange place to find it.

I love collecting coins! My grandad gets most of them but I have a book to tell me how much they are worth. I have a silver Britannia coin straight from the mint and various other coins straight from the mint. I have a coin from the 1700's and many other famous, expensive coins. My whole collection is worth about £300 - £400!

Skate that's your opinion. I guess Skate ovbiously dosen't own any cos there not worth anything! I mean they can buy you stuff but there not really any value so why should we own them? THINK IT THROUGH SKATE! FOR CRYING OUT LOAD! A coin from like 50 years can be worth loads now!

Coins are just fabulous to look at and can tell you lots about the past. Some coins may be worth more than other because less were printed that year or less were printed that year and you can look into why that happened.

lmao! I haven't had any decent metal detectors though I think my Dad might be getting one. Some guy found like the biggest coin collection of celt coins in Britain with a metal detector once. They were all in a farmers field so I don't think he was happy when people started to dig it up. lol.

There are always rational reasons. Either that coin is from like an era that barely any record of them were made or there from like a tribe or something that has ended and they haven't kept the records of the coins.
