Everblue

I need help with Everblue, I've played it before but am currently stuck.
I've searched the web for a walkthrough but all I can find is "How top beat Cao" since I've already beaten him this is of no use to me.
I need to find something in the Spada, the Djinn's Telescope and I also need a spade.

I've searched through the Spada many times and wondered if anyone knows exactly where the Telescope is.

I'm wondering if I need to give Jio a spade he may give me a new map which will show the location of the Telescope, if thats the case, where can I get a spade?
