I need help finding 2 items.

I've played this game before but am currently stuck.

I need to find the Djinn's Telescope somewhere in the Spada.

I also need a spade to give to Jio.

I've searched through the Spada but can't find the telescope and I wonder if I give a spade to Jio, will he give me a map for the telescope?
