As big as Nickelback is, they are only an Indie Recording Label. Road Runner Records is what they are signed with. I believe them along with Slipknot, 3 Inches of Blood, Madina Lake, Cradle of Filth, Trivium, Theory of a Deadman, Dragonforce, Killswitch Engage, Cavalera Conspiracy, Megadeth, and the Misfits along with many others. I am going to Contradict myself here and say not all of these bands are Indie Recording like Cradle of Filth and Megadetth.

It's funny, there songs are soft and kind of depressing which in essence, would make them a soft rock band, but in concert, they are more of a hard rock band, with all the pyrotechnics and lights and what not.

Not totally true. I can name hundreds of rock bands whether they are modern or not. Sum 41, Simple Plan, The Stone Temple Pilots, Korn, Kiss, Metallica, Megadeth, Lifehouse, Rise Against, Paramore, Katy Perry, Disturbed, Boys Like Girls, Secondhand Serenade, 3 Doors Down, Hoobstank, Lit, Staind, Hinder, Mayday Parade, Daughtry, The Maine, Theory of a Deadman, Guns N Roses, All Time Low, The Offspring, M.C.R, Green Day and many others!

They are pretty cool songs. The "Rockstar" one made me a little confused with the music video but I realized that is how RoadRunner Records wanted it. It is a different one but I was confused until I saw their Youtube account.
