I have sent my box back three times for the ring of death. The second time I got it back it was out of the packing box and plugged in for a grand total of five minutes of playing time. I didnt even get to the actually playing of the game I had just bought, just finished the audio settings when the ring came back. Needless to say I was a little furious at that point.

There's no yellow, but there is the orange rings of a missing or improperly connected cable.

It's when an error comes up on the Xbox or something like that,

I just sold mine and got a 360 instead,

I wish I knew you couldn't play most Xbox games on it,

Theres a website that tells you what you can or can't I don't know it though,

I asked at my local game shop and they showed me the list.

my mate has the same problm but he has sent his x box 360 to microsoft to get it fixed he shud get it back in 7 - 14 days so u could do that if the rings of death appear

I hate the ring of death. Although my mate has got a 360 and when he had them he said he knocked it by mistake and it was fine again (better not try that though lol)

my old 360 ust to do ring of deaf my dad fixed it by over heating it
but then the games would go green so we got a new one

it is real. and if you get it, you don't have to worry to much! just send it in to Fry's or someplace and they should fix it for free! it will take a while (lets say 3-4 weeks) untill you get your amazing xbox 360 back, but it will be fixed for free!

hell year i had 3 red rings and four is a new mother board if you get all four your xbox proper overheats i got and inter cooler form mine.

if you do get red rings it does sometimes break the game a little i was playing crackdown when it over heated and it scratched it all around the egde but it will still work hopefully.
