By the obvious title, I mean, have you ever looked in a book, and found like a note, or poem or something? A ton of books I have read from the library have writing in them, and here are some I've found:
My glass heart dangles
by a thread
almost cut down by the
sharp words used like scissors and said
But when it finally falls
and breaks
and my tears pool on
the floor
just remember that
you could have taken
it off that single
strand
and cupped it in
your warm hand.

They try to bring me
down
but what they don't know
is that I'm stealing their
boyfriends
behind their backs.

When you leave me in the
dark
don't forget my name
Even if we're worlds apart
don't forget my face
Even if death tears us apart
Don't forget me.
