Call of Duty: Your thoughts on the series (number 4 soon!)

Hi all!

Just wanted to know if any one played the Call of Duty games? I absolutely love 'em!

Anyway, today (the 28th) some special news was supposed to come out, and everyone suspects it is Call of Duty 4! But its not WWII anymore, they've gone modern everythinks!

Some rumours are going around that Treyarch is makign Call of DUty 5!

What ya think of that!?

Ive got all of them i love them i am currently playing the big red one and i am doing the D-day mission.
Could anyone tell me how many missions the are on the big red one?

I have never played it online as i 1) I dont know how 2) Dont want to die 3)Just cant be botherd.

I've only played Call of Duty once online, and I say it was pretty **** cool. As far as XFire I don't need to use it because I usually don't play it online.

They are actually coming out with COD4 Modern Warfare. It's gonna be way different from the current game...I think more of a challenge...Might be hard getting used to if my server decide to all get it.

I've heard of it, and I think I might get it, but I might wait until a price drop because I don't want to pay $60 dollars for it.

Yea, I think I'd wait a little as well...I think that I would only get it if all the people in my server got the game...to play online. I played COD2 single player and it took about a day to beat (not that exciting)...so I'll just wait to play online with the other people.

I kind of agree, though I didn't beat it in one day. I played Halo more often than CoD because most people didn't have it, and I'd be playing with only one or two people.

Do you still play COD2 online?

Not really. I don't play much of anything anymore. I just play by myself. I need to get a new XBOX Live subscription though. Maybe I'll do it when some good game comes out that would most likely still be worth it.

Yea I don't play much of anything either anymore accept COD2 PC from time to time...

I've never tried it on PC, the only thing I played on the computer was Rainbow Six.

PC's pretty cool, I play on my laptop all the time.

I just could never figure out the controls for it. I maybe might get CoD 4 on the PC if it turns out to be better. I just would have to configure my LAN settings again.
