How to Catch MissingNo in Yellow Version

I'm pretty bored right now, so instead of going to watch TV, I'll enlighten everyone by posting a thread about how to get MissingNo on Pokemon Yellow Version.

Risk Factor [out of 10]: 1. This glitch won't hurt the game.
Difficulty [out of 10]: 4. Being able to catch MissingNo is the hard part. Understanding my explanation is the other part.

First and Foremost: Save the game before you do this.

Note: This isn't the Mew Method to get MissingNo, everyone knows how to do that. This method expands on another method [which is the Cooltrainer Method], but I found it out on accident. Also, doing this freezes the game at the end of the battle, and if it doesn't; you still won't get item duplication, so this is for fun, and that's it.

Description: This glitch will make a trainer encounter MissingNo while in a battle. This happens when the game glitches causing the game to be read incorrectly and the Pokemon to be registered as nothing, which is No.000, which is MissingNo in the game's code. After the battle the game doesn't read any information and the game freezes. In English, this means that the game misreads information and a glitch happens, misplacing the pokemon you were battling with nothing, which the game registers as MissingNo.

Pokemon Requirements [To Make Glitch Work]:

Note: I don't remember if this works on all Pokemon, but I use Oddish because it works almost all of the time.

How to do the glitch:

Text Form: First off, start by getting a Ditto. This may be hard, so I suggest going into Cerulean Cave, seeing as that would be your best chance of getting one. After you have Ditto go to the grass patch to the East of Celadon City [the one right above the Underground Path exit to Celadon City]. Walk around until you get into a battle. When you are in a battle, use Transform and then switch the first and second moves the Pokemon has. For example, if the Pokemon knows

Scratch
Growl
Leer
Pound

Switch it so it becomes

Growl
Scratch
Leer
Pound

Then run, don't do anything else, because then I can't guantee that this will work. So after you've done all that, try to get into a battle with Oddish. Since you now have no moves, except a blank line with a Type of Cooltrainer(G) with 0/19 PP, look at the stats of a Pokemon in your party, other than Ditto. Then after you do that, then look at the stats of Ditto. After that, just go back to the battle screen. You might notice that the Pokemon (Oddish) [There is no display name, it is blank in the name field] is now displaying the sprite of Arcanine, this is supposed to happen; as well as the music starting to slowly go away.

Now, use a Pokeball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, or a Master Ball (if you have one. Don't worry if you use it, the game will freeze anyway). If you don't catch it, then you can see the extended version [the controls will become really lagged. Don't worry, this is supposed to happen]. In this part, it says that the Pokemon [it will display something like Trainer Ditto, or Trainer (name of Pokemon who's stats you looked at)] is Fully Paralyzed. Then it will say that the Pokemon is hurt by its burn, and its HP Meter should now be extremely long, and it also should refill itself every once in a while. It will eventually go to zero, and the battle will end. There you have it, the game will say that you caught MissingNo [unless you didn't]. The game should now just go blank. Just turn off the Game Boy, because the glitch is over

3. Go to the right of the Pokemon Center into the grass patch
4. Get into a battle
5. *Go Ditto*
6. Use Transform
7. Switch the first and second moves
8. Run
9. Get into another battle
10. *Go Ditto"
11. Look at a Pokemon's stats
12. Look at Ditto's Stats
13. *Go Pokeball*

14. You Caught MissingNo
15. Game Freezes

1. Get Ditto
2. Fly to Celadon
3. Go to the grass to the right of Celadon
4. Get into a battle
5. Transform
6. Switch first and second moves
7. Battle again
8. Look at Pokemon's stats, then do the same with Ditto
9. *Go Pokeball*

10. Yay MissingNo
11. Game Freezes
