Does anyone know the BEST way to catch Latios in emerald version? The stinking thing is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to try to even FIND!!!! Though I got its health down to orange and it stays that way when I find it. But I need to try to catch it and I dont have a master ball! I used it on my rayquaza and now I dont have one though I go to the lottery ticket person to try to get it EVERYDAY. What poke ball will help me catch this Latios ONCE I spot somewhere? PLEASE help this VERRRRYYYYY frustrated pesron!!!!!!!

Get a Wobbufet. That way, you can actually battle Latios without it running away. Also, put it to sleep or paralyze it. And get a pokemon that knows False Swipe, so it won't kill it with it's attacks. As far as the Master Ball, do the Lottery Glitch. To do it:

1. Save in inside of the Department Store, and in front of the lady.
2. Wait until tomorrow.
3. Ask the lady to pick a numer
4. If it isn't the one you wanted, then turn off the game.
5. Ask the lady again
6. Repeat steps 3-5 again

She will keep picking numbers, so keep going that.

I think one of the options is Lukario's ''Lottery Glitch'' or GameShark. You can buy GamShark OR Action Replay for 20$.

Um thanks for the Gameshark and Action Replay suggestion....and I think I will try Lukario's Lottry Ticket Cheat.....but I just found Latios and I sent out my Lv.33 Trapinch but it fled though I threw a timer ball at it and the ball moved once and then it got out and fled. Why did it flee? It has area trap! Why????

Because you have to be a higher level then the pokemon I think. I don't know. That is why I suggest you get a Wobbufet at the Sky Pillar.

If you used what I said from the regi's, you could clone. But, you can't do that anymore. You wasted the masterball. What I do is get a lv.100 grass pokemon with false swipe and then run into him later and then use the ultra ball everytime you see him.

I know this might take a while but...you could try to get to mirage island and catch a wynaut...than if you evolve it you'll get a wobbufet....
feh..that was stupid...why did i do that?!oh...well anyways...i guess you could...try...i guess...

Arena Trap only works on NON-FLOATING pokemon.
