I need help on Sims 2 Pets for the Game Cube. How do you get the cheat gnome?

i think this is it.
Effect: Unlock Cheat Gnome.
When: Any time during gameplay press the following butons to get the Cheat Gnome.
How: L(2), R, A(2), D-pad Up

There is no D-pad. And what do you mean by (2)?

There is a D-Pad it is next to the joystick
by (2) he means twice like L(2) means L,L

The d pad is the up, down, left, right thingy and i think i mean 2 by clicking it twice.
please try this asap and if it dont work ill find out why.
