CheatMasters is a site dedicated to helping others with gaming question. By adhering to the rules of the site, it will be much easier to get your questions answered as well as help others.

Below are the rules that members need to abide by when registering and posting on these forums. By posting on the forums you are agreeing to abide by the following site rules. Please read them over before posting. If you have any questions regarding any of these, please feel free to contact an administrator.

• Exercise common sense and be considerate toward your fellow users. Diversity of opinion and intelligent civil discourse is encouraged; by the same token, insults and “flaming” are not tolerated. Disagreeing with an idea is different from attacking an individual.

• Do not post off-topic. Please keep your comments consistent with the subject and purpose of the conversation thread. Deliberate disruption -- such as consistent off-topic commentary -- will not be tolerated.

• Do not attempt to raise post count by double, triple or multi posting. Your posts will be merged. Should you continue to multi-post (creating another post after the one you just made within seconds of minutes of each other) you will receive a warning.

• No foul language ..do not attempt to bypass the word filter. Such behavior will not be tolerated.

• You are limited to one user account on the forums. If you have lost your password make use of the "lost password" function or contact an administrator. Under no circumstances can you deliberately use someone else's name for your name.

• You alone are responsible for the material you post. You will not knowingly post content or links to content that violates the copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of any third party and that you will remove the same should you discover that you have violated this provision. Likewise, you may not post content or links to content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, abusive, that violates a third party's right to privacy, that otherwise violates any applicable local, state, national or international law, or that is otherwise inappropriate. You will indemnify Cheatmasters.com, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims and/or damages resulting from any claim brought by any third party relating to content you have posted.

• Posting private messages is highly frowned upon as these are private conversations between members. Only post PMs if you have the permission of all parties involved.

• Email and instant message addresses should not be posted within the forum and will be removed for your own protection. If you wish someone to contact you via email or instant message ask them to private message you for your contact information.
  

• Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations or hacks are not allowed.

• You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or request a "pyramid" scheme for any offers online, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
  

• Blatantly advertising any other site or product will result in the offending members having their accounts suspended and related posts being altered or deleted. Advertising includes asking members to join another forum or site for the purpose of increasing membership.
  

• Active links in forum posts or signatures , other then those directed toward the CheatMaster main site or within the forum, will be removed or inactivated by CheatMaster staff.

• Bubblegum forum drama will not be tolerated and will be removed immediately. If you have a complaint regarding Administration, moderator activities, site rules, or another member, take it to Private Message. Participation in such drama will lead to a warning, and if it continues, a ban. Complaints or arguments on the forum regarding site rules will constitute an immediate ban for the poster and those who participate in the drama.

• Do NOT post "death threads" By this we mean, threads which discuss the death of a member. All too often such threads have been found to be a hoax, perpetrated just so the poster can gain some distorted sense of self-worth. It is painful to lose anyone whom you know and such things should NEVER be treated lightly. Threads discussing a members supposed death will be removed immediately.
  

• If all else fails, contact either an administrator or moderator.

You are given three warnings, depending on the severity of your offense, before being suspended. Suspension can last up to two weeks. If a chronic offender returns after their suspension period and continues to disobey the above rules, they will be banned indefinitely.

Forum discussions are well-monitored. We shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of the forums to determine compliance with all sections of this agreement and any other operating rules established by us. We shall have the right in our sole discretion to edit, refuse to post, remove, or otherwise alter any material submitted to, or posted on, these forums.

Without limiting the foregoing, we shall have the right to remove any material that we, in our sole discretion, find to be in violation of this agreement or inappropriate for any reason without consent.
