in my opinion the world is not changing for the better, it is changing for the worse.

famine is wide spread a crossed many nations
riots break out in many other countries like Greece
and corruption is wide spread

Is the world turning for the better. Maybe. Im not entirly sure about that.

But as you said Pocket Ninja, there will allways be famine, riots(or war) and corruption. Humans are greedy creatures by nature, and we are stupid, wether or not we want to accept it. We can never accept 'peace' because one person allways wants to be ontop, the alpha.

Now I know this is going off topic but I think this will fit with your topic. Communisim will never work. It says that everyone shares the same thing, such as a doctor being paid the sam as a burger flipper. But ook at the current day leader of the communists. s/he is the top dog, getting millions. Plus I'm sure he is corrupt beyond belife, aong with most governments in our word

The world is not changing for the better in my opinion. We are becoming more selfish day by day, and creating even more dangerous weaponary than ever before.

so what about how technology was supposed to make life easyer but now i'll go on the computer for five min and it turns into an hour or two. it's more frustrating than anything else in the world

Pretty much sums up what I'm about to say.

Basically, it's in a state of contradiction. You may think it's getting worse for you, but to others the world is just getting better. Big industries, rich celeberties, powerful politics, ect. They see the world as gettin better with new things each and everyday. To me, the world has remained the same since forever. Wars, corruption, death, birth, arguments, there's really no way to say what this world it getting to.

Are we getting stupider and lazier each day? Hell yeah we are.
But are we advancing to an age when our lives can become easier and allow us to help others? Shoot yeah!

Basically, it's how you look at it. For me, it's just all the same.

Better or not, it depends on your view.
More peoples have better cure to live longer, and scientist have new discoveries every time, which will maybe bring our life better or not.

More peoples have riot, new disease, and there are weapons which can blew 5 earth at once if it's exist. (Maybe it can blew Jupiter!)
