Age of Empires II Conquerers Expansion

Hey, anybody who likes this game? It's a new one for me and I'm addicted. My friends got me hooked and now we play all the time. Anybody want to compare strategies?

It's really cool, although my Mom thinks that it is a "boy" game I still love it!! Basically you start out with an old civilazation, ranging from the Dark Age to the Post Imperial Age. You then try to advance your civilization to better ages and conquer your enemies. There are several different settings for victory, however, conquest is the most common. Like I said though, it has all kinds of settings. You should really give it a try. It takes a while to get acclamated to it, but once you do, it's really cool. I play through internet connections with my buds all the time because I think playing with actual people is more interesting. But yeah, give it a try!

Total War strategy games. You lead your country to complete some tasks that are set at the start but your aim is world domination. You have to keep your money up, population happy and you have to conquer the world as well as defending your lands. It is pretty hard and I've only done it a few times and I'm pretty good at it. Have a look at it.

I used to play AoE for a few month's when it came out, but the third one turned me off the series (Plus the gameplay gets a bit stale a decade on...). And this expansion the one with the Mongolian campaign in it?

Your a Total War fan!? Do you play plain vanilla TW or have you tried any mods? Its a fantastic series, but Empire is just a little bit to fancy for my PC.

Yeah I;ve played the mods from MTWII onwards. New Empire mod coming out soon. Yeah I agree. They've overdone it a bit to much I think. My computer does suffer. But the game itself rocks.

Oh yeah defenatley. I like on the new one, Empire, that each country has it's own colours and flag. So the US has the US flag and Britain has the British flag. I think you would like, so have a go. There's Shogun, which apparently is awful, Rome, which is awesome, Medieval and Medieval II and latest Empire. All have expansion packs as well apart from Empire which is having one in February.
