Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
An epic tragicomedy musical event, separated into three acts, each better than the one before. A new obsession of mine... I've seen it twice all the way through, and listened to the individual songs tens of times each (especially my favorites: My Eyes and So They Say).
Do any of you like it? I hope someone does. And if you haven't heard of it, then you need to watch it. It's funny, sad, suspenseful, tragic and musical. It's about a guy, Dr. Horrible, who is an evil genius. He loves Penny, who he always sees at the laundromat. Then, in an attempt to get a piece to complete his Freeze Ray, his plans are foiled by Captain Hammer, his nemesis, and he unintentionally and indirectly makes Hammer and Penny meet. They're together, upsetting Dr. Horrible, and... the rest you have to watch. Neil Patrick Harris is Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion is Captain Hammer, and Felicia Day is Penny. There's also a guy named Moist, and the Bad Horse chorus, and the Captain Hammer groupies.

OMG I LOVE THIS, I've got it on my Ipod but the ending was sooooooooo sad.

I know, right? My friends (loyal Fillion fans, as am I now) forced me to watch it a while ago, and just last week we watched it again together, and a lot of the commentary on YouTube. I almost cried again.

Yeah I watch it about once or twice a month, its one of my total faves, I also have the soundtrack on my Ipod.

Ooh, lucky. I think I'm going to buy the soundtrack MP3 on Amazon, and maybe a few songs from the commentary soundtrack.

The commentary IS songs. XD It's a musical in itself, really. On Youtube, it's CommentaryTheMusical. It's sooo funny, and the best is #4.

Um... probably My Eyes. I'm listening to it right now! ^^; I just love the harmonies, and the way Penny's part is so positive, and Billy's is so negative. That part in the movie is funny.
