pokemon yellow and missingo

ok I want to know if pokemon yellow if for the gameboy color and I also want to know if you can get missingo in: gold,silver,yellow,red, and blue please answer as soon as possible

I thought you said it wasnt possible to capture missingo?

It is possible to capture missingo, however, it will glitch your game up. Phantom, to my knowledge, the only games in which it is possible to see/capture missingo is Red/Blue and possibly Yellow.

Yellow is not for the color, it is for the regular Game Boy.

In order to see misingo you must have both surf and fly. You must also have visited Cinnibar Island. Once you've done all three of these things, here is the process in which you can see misingo.

There is a man in Viridian City who will show you how to catch a pokemon, talk to him and allow him to show you. After the cinematic is over, DO NOT MOVE. Open your menu and fly to Cinnibar Island. Walk to your right and surf along the coast of the right side of the island until you see misingo. The item in your sixth slot, I think, of your bag will be increased by some undeterminable number.

I must stress. DO NOT CATCH MISSINGO. It will glitch your game, and you will have to start over.

It mostly glitches if u get a bad version of it...i have a safe version and my game works fine idk wht every1 is talkin bout saying glitches up

i hav heard of it glitchin up, but i ignored it and caught 1, and it turned into a rydon, but realsed bout 5 secs after catchin it incase the glith thing had any merit 2 it

The effects of Missingno are as follows: 1. It will completely destroy your hall of fame data, even after you release it. 2. It can corrupt your data on your cartridge, and completely wipe everything clean meaning you'll have to start over. 3. It will make captures and other basic functions of the game difficult or impossible to execute.
