It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. According to the trailer, we will play 3 different storyline, which is Leon with an unknown woman, Chris with the BSAA crews, and a woman rumored to be Ashley with a bounty hunter.

Release is on November 20 for PS3 and X360. Later date for PC.

To be honest, I'm really excited about this.

I heard about this yesterday in my game design class, actually. I didn't learn much beyond an anouncement. And if mememory serves, there should be one game, Operation Racoon City, coming out in a few months, and another 3DS title a few months after that, Reveelations.

And I just watched the trailer. Rumored to be Ashley? It's pretty darn close to confirmed just due to the voice. I beat RE4 about a month ago, and It's way to close to not be her.


EDIT: My order was off. Revelations is next month on 3DS, and Operation Racoon City is in March on 360 and PS3.

Because I watched it in NicoVideo, and the comments about Ashley is pretty much found. I'm not sure which is right, because Leon changes much too. Chances by chances. (They even commented Where is Ada )

Revelations set between RE4 and RE5, and it's DS, so I didn't have much interest because I don't have one.

Operation Raccoon City seems interesting, but my PC is too old...

Racoon City isn't releasing on PC, just 360 and PS3. IF you listen to teh english voice for Ashley in RE4, then the woman with the bounty hunter in RE6, it's really close, which is making me think it's her.

I could have sworn Racoon City wasn't going to be on PC. I was in the Inserted Evil contest for some DLC at one point, and they didn't list PC as a console it would be on. This is liscensed by Capcom, too.

Wow. I can't believe I skipped over this thread so many times. It's funny though, the first hint I got of Resident Evil 6 was from an ad I saw not 5 minutes ago. :|

So, will the game be like Resident Evil 4 and 5, or is it going more towards the original overhead camera survival games?

Likely to be the new camera system. RE4 is credited with the revival of the series, and I doubt they'll ditch a system that works.

Hmm.....good point. It's a bit more action-oriented that way. Plus, it makes you turn around to see what's behind you rather than wait to see something charging you.

Im only happy because im going to b able to walk and shoot for the first time in the series. Its a huge leap foward i believe. Yet i think the game is more action than horror. Not like the originals...Thats the only bummer. Leon FTW.!!!!!!
