Sim city games

Talk about them here. I put the thread here, because, if I'm mnot wrong, it would qualify as a sims game. anyway, just post anything about them on this thread.
EDIT: Has anyone managed to get to the post-global warming age in simcity Creator DS? If so, can you please help me get there? I have tax set to 1% on all zones, funding set to 200% for everything, have only about 17% city-wide pollution, low traffic, and my education level is 93, my health 98, and life span 85.

EDIT AGAIN!: I think I know how to get to the post global warming! When you beat the dawn of civilization, do not go to the next age yet. Reach population of 6000, then build the garbage dump, anywhere you want, even in the middle of your housing, they don't mind. After building it, go to the next age, and the dump is now a shell mound, then in the next age, its a big tree. It makes sense, because the sillhouette (Spelling?) of the post global warming age is a Huge tree, and thats what the dump becomes, so maybe you have to have that in your city in order to gain access to the post global warming age, otherwise, you are just going to get stuck at the global warming age forever.
