Question: PS3 or PS2

People believe that the PS3 is a waste of money, because the XBOX 360 came out first. There was a little bit of commotion when the PS3 was released about how they had basically ripped off the XBOX. And because of this, people are not prepared to spend £299/$500, when they could simply get a supposedly similar 360 for almost half the price.

But they are totally different! I mean I have played both in the same house with the same person at about the same time, lol. The PS3 is way better. It's just to many people are prejudice. I just say you can't claim anything until you've played them which is why I believe there should be more places to try out the consoles.

I vote PS2. Even though they're only making 6 more games for it, I still think it's better. The games are cheaper, plus, there's a lot of games.

i voted for ps2 cos it has more games and you don't have to pay £300/$500 for a new console it will soon come down in price

I say ps3 the costs is crazy but it is well worth it you can put song videos and pictures on it and the games are beasty

PS3 can play PS1 games but they suggest not for the graphics are so horrific they rather you play them on the PS1 or 2. Sometimes it won't play them at all.



I vote for the PS2 because I enjoy it better. No need to go and spend so much on a gaming console.

I Kind of agree actually. I like the PS3. I think it's better. But there are some things which are pointless. Like accessing the internet. I mean you can do faster and better with a computer which is built for it. Now I know people may argue but you get all of it in one and you don't have to buy separate things but I mean you use the computer more for than just the internet and in a sense you need the computer for the PS3 to connect to the internet so there's no point in the end.

Actually, the internet can be accessed a hell of a lot faster on a PS3. When you think that you have to boot up your computer, wait for it to load up, then connect to the internet. And hey, having the internet on a machine such as the PS3 can only improve it. And remember you only need a computer for online connection. I think anything that Sony want to put in, go for it because it can only improve it.
