Uhh yeah you can play PS1 games on the PS2 I don't know what you are talking about but You can play PS1 games on the PS2, my PS2 can do that your PS2 is just probaly broken or something.

If a Ps3 can play Playstation 2 games, and the Ps3's graphics are five zillion times better than the Ps3's, why do we argue over which is better?

Now if you're talking in terms of price, I really can't afford a Ps3, so I'd have to get a Ps2 (hypothetical situation, I already have a Ps2).
